The Connection

So, I guess Ashley hates me for no reason. I told her she was immature, and I guess she just decided to prove my point by hating me for remaining truthful. I just don’t understand what she’s trying to prove. Maybe that our twelve year friendship was a lie, maybe she’s lying to herself, or maybe she’s just confused. No matter what it may be, she’s handling it extremely immaturely. You just don’t shun people without reason. It’s like buying new tires for a car when there’s nothing wrong with the old ones, or eating when you’re already full. It’s pointless. The two of us have been best friends for the majority of our lives, and I know for a fact that she’s better than this. I know she can be mature, and I really hope she comes to grips with the fact that this is no longer about any relationship besides our friendship. She needs to get over herself, and realize that what she’s doing is being done without reason, point, or discretion for her own image. She’s hurting herself by hating me. I’m not the guy you hate, I’m the one that will always care.
